It's never the right time to make waves or apply pressure, in the minds of some Catholics. The change is always tantalizingly on the horizon and we are always advised to keep our eyes on that tantalizing horizon where, we're told over and over, change will eventually show itself.
Meanwhile, nothing at all changes.

These dysfunctional dynamics, which depend on belief in an illusionary good father who will one day treat us kindly, are very wearisome to me.
